The second training event for the T-MAPPP ESRs was held at the university campus of University of Twente at the beautiful city of Enschede. The event lasted 2 weeks starting from March 2, 2015 ending on March 13, 2015.
The event included the week long JMBC course on Particle Technology as a part of the ESR training which included courses in the field of Particle Contact, Particle-Measurement Techniques, Particle-Fluid Interactions Basics, Powder Flow, Measurement, and Silos (Phenomenology, Design, Problems), Advanced particle interactions modelling, Particle to Granular Flow, Rheology, Two-phase flow modeling, Mixing and Segregation, Nano-particle technology, overview, Sedimentation, Fluidization, Pneumatic Transport among other taught courses.
The second week of the event included ESR presentations, Research discussions, Board meeting and ESR training events including courses in C++ and LIGGHTS with a special hands-on training in building T-MAPPP Outreach experiments at the state-of-the-art Design Lab in University of Twente.
